Dragon Blade (2015) is a Chinese historical action film written and directed by Daniel Lee and starring Jackie Chan. In the film, Chan plays Huo An, the commander of the Protection Squad of the Western Regions during the Han Dynasty. Dragon Blade was released in IMAX 3D on 19 February 2015, the first day of the Chinese New Year holiday period. The film was released in the United States on 4 September 2015 by Lionsgate Premiere. The film is set in the 1st century AD, during the Han Dynasty. Huo An, Lucius and the defected Roman soldiers join forces to fight Tiberius and his army. The two sides clash in a series of epic battles, and Huo An and Lucius must overcome their differences in order to save the Silk Road and the people who live there.
