Ouija Witch 2023 is an upcoming American horror film directed by Mike Flanagan and written by Jeff Buhler. It is the third installment in the Ouija franchise, serving as a sequel to Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) and Ouija: House of Origin (2018). The film is produced by Flanagan and Trevor Macy, with Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions serving as executive producers.
The film stars McKenna Grace as Lily, a young woman who is haunted by the Ouija board that her mother used to communicate with the spirit world. When Lily begins using the Ouija board herself, she unleashes a terrifying evil that threatens to destroy her life.
Flanagan has said that Ouija Witch 2023 will be a "standalone" film that will not require viewers to have seen the previous Ouija films. However, he has also said that the film will be "connected" to the previous films in terms of its tone and themes.

But as the night went on, Lily began to feel uneasy. Her mother's spirit seemed to be getting darker and more sinister. She started saying strange things, and she seemed to be getting angry.
Lily tried to end the conversation, but her mother's spirit refused to let her go. She insisted that Lily keep talking to her.
Lily was terrified, but she didn't know what to do. She was trapped in the room with her mother's evil spirit, and she had no way to escape.

Lily looked up and saw a figure standing in the doorway. It was her father.
"Lily!" he shouted. "Get out of there!"

Lily's father closed the door behind him and locked it. He turned to Lily and said, "You're never to use that Ouija board again."
Lily nodded, her face pale with fear. She knew that she had been lucky to escape with her life.
